We are delighted to welcome you on what promises to be an incredible journey to France this April.

There will be so much to discuss, to see, and of course, to taste, this spring in Provence. We will gather in storied cellars to hear the tales of this vintage and the varied ones before it. We will discover the magic of living with the seasons and the trials of their unpredictability, and we will delve into the growers’ innovative plans for the future.  

A memorable trip awaits and we are eager to share the adventure with you. 

 

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Monday, April 14th

Upon arrival at Marseille Airport in Marignane, we gather and prepare for our journey

10:45 AM – We set off for Cassis and enjoy lunch at Bar de la Marine, overlooking the marina, at 12:00 PM

1:30 PM - Early check-in at Hotel Liautaud. Kindly reminder to dress for our boat excursion

1:50 PM – We head to the marina for a two-hour boat excursion exploring the stunning rocky inlets

At 7:30pm, after some time to rest, we meet for dinner Chez Gilbert, indulging in the local specialty, the bouillabaisse

Overnight: Hôtel Liautaud, Cassis

Tuesday, April 15th

9:55am - Departure for a wine tasting with Etienne de Portalis at Château Pradeaux

Returning to Cassis, you will enjoy a leisurely lunch. No booking has been made, but here are a few recommendations:
Chez Poulette
Poisson Rouge

4:20pm - We meet at the hotel and make our way to Domaine du Bagnol for a tasting with M. Genovesi

7:30pm - We will enjoy dinner at Le Grand Large facing Cassis’ marina

Overnight: Hôtel Liautaud, Cassis

Wednesday, April 16th

9:25am - Check-out from the hotel and departure for a wine tasting at Château Simone

We then head to Aix-en-Provence for a leisurely lunch. No booking has been made, but here are a few recommendations:

L’Incontournable

2:25pm - We gather and proceed to check-in at Maison de Crillon in Crillon-le-Brave. Kindly reminder to dress up for our dinner tonight at a 1-Michelin-star-restaurant

5:15pm - After some time to relax we depart for Gigondas to taste at Domaine Gour de Chaulé

7:20pm - We make our way down the village to the 1-michelin-star restaurant, L’Oustalet

Overnight: Maison de Crillon, Crillon-le-Brave

Thursday, April 17th

9:40am - We set off to taste at Domaine Bois de Boursan in Châteauneuf-du-Pape

We will then make our way to Orange for a leisurely lunch. No booking has been made, but here are a few recommendations:

2:45pm - We gather and make our way back to the hotel for some downtime

5:30pm - Visit to the hill of Ventoux for an olive oil tasting with Faustine Ughetto

7:20pm - Departure for dinner at Bigoté

Friday, April 18th

9:30am - We check-out and set off to Arles, in the Camargues region, for a guided walking tour of the old town with our private guide, Anne

Lunch at your leisure. No booking has been made, but here are a few recommendations:
Gaudina
Le Voltaire
With the lively Feria happening in Arles, we highly recommend to try the delicious paella from food stands all around town!

After lunch, you have the option to explore the LUMA museum or stroll, on your own, through the charming streets of Arles and partake in the Feria celebrations

4pm - We regroup and check in at Mas de l’Oulivié in Les Baux-de-Provence

7:50pm - We set off to a relaxed, authentic meal at Bistrot du Paradou

Overnight: Mas de l’Oulivié, Les Baux-de-Provence

Saturday, April 19th

9:45am - Departure for a wine tasting at Mas de Valériole. Kindly reminder to dress for our lunch at a 1-Michelin-star-restaurant

12:15pm - We make our way to the 1-Michelin-star restaurant, La Chassagnette, where we will tour their beautiful garden before sitting down for a delightful lunch

After lunch, the persons who have sign up to a horseback riding moment will head to the ranch. Kindly be prepared with 45€ in cash to pay for this activity

The rest of the group will return to Les Baux-de-Provence to enjoy some time in town

6:30pm - We regroup and make our way to the hotel to get ready for our last dinner

7:55pm - We meet and make our way to dinner in Les Baux-de-Provence at, La Reine Jeanne

Overnight: Mas de l’Oulivié, Les Baux-de-Provence

Sunday, April 20th

5:45am - Early departure from our hotel to Marseille airport
