Discover the inimitable warmth of the Jura
Chef Nomade program celebrates the food, wine, culture, and natural beauty of the Jura region in northeastern France. We invite world-renowned chefs as well as brilliant new talent to join us at Closerie les Capucines, Neal’s beautiful 17th-century maison d’hôtes nestled in the bustling wine village of Arbois.
Our 3-day immersions are comprised of cooking classes, meals with vignerons, comprehensive wine tastings, and a visits artisan food producers.
Each scheduled weekend, intimate groups of no more than 12 guests will dive into the Jura and its culinary history, with a talented chef at their side. Chefs are selected from a variety of global traditions, chosen for their reputation of excellence and creativity.
Ample time for hiking, exploration of the region, and perhaps a lounge by the pool is baked into your itinerary.
After a day of inspiration and exploration, you’ll retire to one of five perfectly appointed rooms.

Join us for four days of wine and food immersion as we experience, learn, taste, and cook with chef Klas Lindberg, wine educator Asa Johansson, and Neal Rosenthal in the heart of the Jura. We will visit with artisans and winemakers, spend time in the kitchen and at markets, and walk through the surrounding vineyards and forests to discover what it is that makes this region so very special.
