We are delighted to invite you to join us in Tuscany for an immersion program diving deep into the wine and culinary heritage of this beautiful region. This program offers exclusive access to wineries within the Rosenthal Wine Merchant portfolio, those not generally open to the public. We will engage with Neal Rosenthal’s winemakers through the wine merchants’ lens, enjoying intimate visits, vineyard tours, and cellar discoveries, exploring historic Tuscan villages with our local guide, and indulging in the best cuisine Tuscany has to offer. Our home base for this trip will be La Poderina, a charming villa located on an olive grove belonging to the wonderful xxx family. Åsa Johansson will guide us in our wine education of the region, beginning with basics and digging deep into the terroir. Chef Klas Lindberg will install himself in the kitchen of La Poderina delighting in the produce of Tuscany meals and hosting a cooking class in which he infuses his culinary style with the local specialities.

Day One: Wednesday, 13 November

Guests arrivals throughout the morning. Pick-ups in Florence.

Visit to learn about Åsa’s olive oil project at La Collina Blu.

Lunch prepared at La Poderina by the hotel staff featuring a tasting of their olive oil. 

Time to relax and settle in followed by an introduction to the wines of Tuscany with Åsa. 

A walk in Siena before dinner in the historic center together.

Day Two: Thursday, 14 November 

Following breakfast, we depart for a visit with a Rosenthal Wine Merchant producer. Visit of the vineyards, estate, followed by a tasting. 

Lunch will be prepared by Klas today highlighting local Tuscan ingredients from the market.

A vineyard walk or visit nearby before dinner in Siena. 

Overnight: La Poderina

Day Three: Friday, 15 November 

Late morning we depart for a visit to Castell’inn Villa where we visit the estate, the cellars, and finish with a wine tasting lunch on site. 

Another tasting to a Rosenthal Wine Merchant producer in the afternoon along with a cultural visit, foodie excursion or hike. 

Dinner will be prepared by the Poderina team this evening.

Overnight: La Poderina

Day Four: Saturday, 16 November 

Early morning market visit this morning depending on the village market schedule. Visit to a Rosenthal Wine Merchant producer where we will be served grazing platters to pair with the wine tasting. 

Cooking lesson this afternoon followed by dinner prepared together Klas. Winemaker guests and bottles shared in the convivial atmosphere of La Poderina.

Day Five: Sunday, 17 November 

Departures at leisure.

EUR 5,150 per person in a double room sharing.

This package program includes accommodation at La Poderina, meals with wine, all guided visits and special entries, wine education and culinary experiences with Asa and Klas, as well as private transportation throughout the trip.

It does not include international travel.
