We invite you to make yourself home at La Poderina, a Tuscan country house 5 km away from the heart of Siena. The 10-hectare property is immersed in centuries-old olive groves that give the estate its singular ‘Orgolio della Poderina,’ a strong and spicy olive oil, with dynamic personality.
Walk among rosemary bushes and hydrangeas in the morning, and listen to the song of crickets in the open-air drawing room at night. Enjoy long lunches around the farmyard’s travertine table overlooking the countryside, and the company of world-renowned growers who join us for dinners nightly.
Between once-in-a-lifetime wine tastings at the estates of Montevertine, Pacina, and more, we’ll spend time in Poderina’s state-of-the-art kitchen with our resident Chef Jodi Moreno. Jodi will be teaching how to cook some of her Italian favorites, such as homemade pasta, pomodoro, ragu, and more, using local ingredients, classic techniques, and secret tips.
After full days of activity, we retire nightly to the thoughtfully-designed bedrooms of Poderina.
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. There is a fully equipped fitness room, heated swimming pool, vegetable garden, and orchard on property.
Trip Cost: $3,600 based on double occupancy
Please note! There are only 4 rooms at Poderina. One of the four rooms can be made up for two twin beds…but we cannot do a single supplement on this trip.
Price excludes international airfare.
